We've had one of those garish, ugly rainbow fences for a long time - it was a complete eyesore in the house and after one of the panels cracked I looked for something else - in hopes that There is a more attractive option. Shops are very limited and I knew that for something this expensive, Amazon would have a plethora of options that I couldn't find anywhere else. I've come across some really cute ones like this, but I like the gray and white to match the other stuff in my room. You can also see that these gates come with adorable built-in toys to keep your child busy: sliding beads and spinning wheels. Everything is disassembled when they arrive but they are very easy to assemble by following the instructions. Remember to attach the suction cups to the bottom link brackets before assembly - this will ensure your gate is securely fastened to the ground. At first I built without them, only to find that my strong child could move the gate in space (the advantage, of course, is that the play handle is very easy to transport). Luckily the suction cups on my travertine floor are very strong. It also comes with a set of stickers to make a little animal (panda?) face on either side - it's a cute little touch that makes this pen even more adorable. There are also no gaps in the panels, so you don't have to worry about your child or their little fingers getting caught or injured, which is very important.
