Review on Shelving 0191402 Floating Invisible Brackets by Patrick Freddie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice shelves but installation requires work.

Additional holes need to be drilled in the mounting bracket to match the studs. Unless you attach it to solid wood, the shelf will barely support its own weight! Also take some mounting screws with you. I used the 3" drywall screws I had on hand (pre-drill the holes with something roughly the size of the CLAMP's screw, not tapped!) to meet three studs. As you can see in the photo, I placed some weight on the bottom shelf and it's very solid. Like I said, a bit of extra work but they work and look GREAT! I would definitely recommend someone with "SOME building skills" to install them. Using theirs Drywall anchors in plain drywall won't help! (A good "Nail Finder" helps a lot. A 48" can easily catch two studs, and a 60" can easily catch 3. You didn't have to remove the shelves from " Move it to your "perfect place". I don't care if mine are centered to each other and look balanced or where I wanted to place them. Currently I would like to have someone film the installation. But I did everything myself. So no free on the one hand lol
