Overall I like these shoes and I usually give them 4 stars apart from two things. The shoe fits well despite my wide feet and looks nice and clean. I walk our dog at least two miles a day and I feel good walking. The first problem: the insole of the shoe falls out when you take your foot out of the shoe. This forces you to replace it every time you put on each shoe. I understand that some people will remove the insole and replace it with a more suitable replacement (Dr Sholls etc), but this is an issue that can be easily resolved. The second annoyance is a bit more complicated: the outsole design has a hole in the heel. This groove sometimes forms a suction seal on certain floors or on wet surfaces, causing shoes to stick for a microsecond. For me it's not a big problem because I don't run, but I see it as a problem for some runners or people who might wobble on their feet.
