Very expensive for what it is: clamp. But he does his job. I have a Gamma X-2 drop weight stringer and used one of the floating clamps as a launch method (see various instructions on YouTube). I only use one stringer on my racquets as I break the strings once or twice a month. When using a floating jig, one of the two middle main strings may not be as tight (although there are ways to compensate). Therefore, using an initial jig is easier and may be a bit more accurate in terms of intended string tension (even with an initial jig there are potential tension issues). I've used it twice and it seems to work. It's just a clamp with strong springs and string guards. Hence the 4 star rating.
