I bought these stable boots after reading many good reviews on here. The problem is that most people write their reviews shortly after receiving the product. I bought them on July 25, 2019 and have only used them once a week for work in my own garden (less often in winter). After just 13 months, the left sole on the heel began to peel off. Now try to fix it with shoe polish. Also for the first 5-6 months I had to wear high socks to protect my heels from blisters. Something seemed too rough or hard on the back of the boot where it was rubbing against the back of my heel causing irritation and blisters. So the low socks I use for my sneakers don't fit them well. Now that part of the shoe is worn out, so no longer a problem. It appears to be a good quality shoe built to withstand the abuse of gardening so I was very surprised and disappointed when the sole started to peel off. No fit issues at all but they could be made a lot more comfortable with a thicker foam or gel insole. I see that the rating doesn't have a "comfort" rating listed, so I'll put mine in here - 3 stars for comfort alone. If I were a professional gardener gardening all day, I would never wear them. They should be MUCH more comfortable.
