The keyboard cover left marks on the screen. The lid was made out of some kind of silicone? It fitted well, but after a few days I noticed the entire keyboard's "fingerprint" on the screen. I tried washing it with a screen cloth, it helped a little but didn't remove everything. I then used a screen cleaner recommended by Apple. It helped again, but my laptop still shows screen damage. I would have posted this review sooner but we were busy moving and dealing with medical issues. The plastic cap fitted well, was light and held up well. I would not order this product again. A product sold to protect very expensive electronics that actually damages what it is designed to protect is unacceptable.
