The keyboard cover left marks on the screen. The lid was made out of some kind of silicone? It fitted well, but after a few days I noticed the entire keyboard's "fingerprint" on the screen. I tried washing it with a screen cloth, it helped a little but didn't remove everything. I then used a screen cleaner recommended by Apple. It helped again, but my laptop still shows screen damage.
