Definitely not bad. This is a great alternative if you are concerned about the cost and don't want to pay a lot for your professional (custom) installation (e.g. drilling, rewiring through the door, etc.). Personally I still plan to do it professionally but for me personally it was a good way to get a good idea of what I'm looking for in the future. The logo chip can easily come out and you just have an extra (bright) puddle light. Nevertheless, the purchase is worthwhile. Lastly, the photos I have only show them on the driver and passenger doors (2012 Escalade). I positioned mine so that I felt it matched the look more, rather than just slamming it in the middle of the bottom of the door, which I felt looked a bit ostentatious.
