stripper on your table!

I'm more of a set and forget type when it comes to my monitor, so I looked at these types of arm mounts rather than fully adjustable ones. I use it on my standing desk attached to a 1.25 inch piece of hardwood. I use it to hold my 27 inch Dell 4k monitor. The mount doesn't look very similar in the photos, but in person it's solid and of high quality. Height: What I liked the most is that the stand is a few inches higher than the others. at a height of 18 inches. I'm tall and my neck hurts when I look at the monitor. My hand is on top of the bar and it's tight. Preparation: Easy to do on your own. There's a channel that you can insert a VESA mount into so you can easily turn the monitor on and off between adjustments. I use my monitor as a USB hub so I have a lot of cables going back and forth and I was able to plug everything into a cable management system. The clamp is monstrous and I didn't have to drill a hole in my beautiful hardwood board. There is a thin layer of padding on the inside of the clamp that rests on the table. I want the part that comes in contact with the underside of the table to have this padding as well. Durability: Initially, the monitor wobbled a bit, but after I tightened all the screws, the shaking was much less. The movement only occurs when I adjust the height of my sit/stand desk and when I actually bump into the desk. Adjustability: You can actually move with this stand. The monitor can be rotated sideways. You can also maneuver your hand even after tightening the screws. You CANNOT adjust the height or tilt of the monitor when it is locked.

Pros
  • FULLY ADJUSTABLE: The desktop monitor mount can be tilted 90 degrees up and down, swiveled 180 degrees left and right on two different hinges, and raised and lowered 18 inches. The monitor can be rotated in landscape or portrait orientation and held in place. (See instruction video for functionality)
Cons
  • A little torn
