Assembly requires 3-4 different sizes of Allen keys as the parts are made as cheaply as possible and are not designed for quality and efficiency3. The thing is, with literally an extra detail, they could make this thing fit almost any TV or monitor. Buy something else. You will not regret it.

This is a great monitor mount. You can choose between 3 installation methods. 1) With the supplied clamp. 2) Use an existing hole in your desk (such as a cable management hole) or 3) Drill your own small hole as shown in the instructions. Metals are excellent and thick, clamp is excellent, very thick and strong but plastic and screws are flimsy and cheap. a problem with the bar where it attaches to the clip, after 3 months of use i contacted the seller and they refused to help saying they had nothing to do with the problems and referred me back to amazon when they cleared the return knew amazon policy higher than i contacted mount it manufacturer they answered me once i asked for a picture. I paid $31 for this mount and wow! The back of my monitor is now 3 inches from the wall (Vesa plate to wall) versus 10 inches before. I have a Samsung CHG70 monitor and the stand was very bad. For the price, this monitor arm is a good choice. In my case, I had a 32-inch monitor whose stand literally took up 20% of my desk. So in *MY* case, I didn't really want a full range of arm motion, just taking the base off my desk so I could work. It worked fine for my purpose. Boy, I wanted to love this mount as much as the other reviewers did, but unfortunately I don't. Why? The reasons I think this mount is "just okay" (3 star rating) are: 1.
