Review on 🚴 Fizik Unisex-Adult Cycling Platform Shoe by Sam Bhushan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They're better than good, but somehow not very good, or maybe it's me, I don't know.

While these are great shoes, I can't help but feel like something is missing. Maybe it's because I haven't blasted them fully, but there are a few glaring issues worth noting. Pros: Dual BOA tensioners are great for a custom fit. The shoes are narrow enough to prevent overstretching of the metatarsal bones. but doesn't pinch toes or create hot spots - Sole is very stiff but not too hard and has a good medium arch to support foot - Fits true to size (I wear Nike 11, Euro 44 is perfect for me) - Heel cup is snug and keeps the arch of the foot flush with the rest of the shoe. Cons: Heavy flex in the toe and upper body during instep (regardless of BOA tension) resulting in a lot of foot movement in the shoe. - High tension on the proximal BOA results in folding of the flap material and pressure points on the proximal 4th and 5th metatarsals - The handle of the proximal BOA will push into the foot at almost any tension, but will migrate left to right and slip a lot in the shoes when hard kicking)

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Very expensive
