Review on Samsung Galaxy Tablet Verizon Mystic by Chai Charoen ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

For the first time in my life I bought a truly flagship device. At first there was a feeling of rejection, they say, for what such money? Old lenovo four times cheaper also worked well. But gradually I get used to it and I like it. I dropped the iPad because I needed a typewriter replacement with output to an external monitor. And it's twice the price. I use 90 percent in Dex mode (for the sake of it I bought it in many respects) - either in horizontal orientation, or with a large monitor, with an external mouse and keyboard. Not windows, of course, but in some ways even better. VPN is turned on with one button, ates arrive in one package, no drivers or other things are needed. In general, if you do not need a stylus or Dex (at the same time), then you can get by with the S6 lite or S5e at half the price. But I wanted everything at once, so I'm happy :)

Pros
  • Productivity is more than enough for everything. Picture in 4k, games through xcloud, whatever. Very good sound for a mobile device. Dex is fire, very comfortable and very functional. The operating time is not bad, including in anticipation (at least, it loses no more than a couple of percent per night).
Cons
  • Too big and heavy, it is inconvenient to hold on weight - hands get tired. The screen is also too large, at a distance of half-bent arms it is impossible to fully cover it with vision. For me, the optimal size would be 9 to 10 inches, but they don't make them with advanced stuffing. And I would prefer amoled like in S6. There are small non-critical android glitches. Some things don't work in Dex mode, but that was to be expected, I guess. Taking into account the multimedia content of the tablet, it would not be damaged by microHDMI, a pair of usb and 3.5 mm connectors. For some reason, manufacturers think that an expensive stylish device from which a hub sticks out with all sorts of adapters is aesthetically pleasing. But no. A regular cover without a keyboard can only be put on, but it cannot be put with a slight rise. Bought non-original, satisfied. All places for the stylus are chosen unsuccessfully (which is also confirmed by the curved designs of regular covers). It falls off everywhere. Why couldn't it be sunk into the body like in the Note series? Volume control on bluetooth speakers not working. Fast charging is not included, but this has already been cursed here. Unable to connect external webcam via USB. Can android do it in principle?

Got pros: Performance, screen, stability, stylus Some cons: Native cover leaves corners poorly protected
