Let's call it what it is. This is an inexpensive holiday shower curtain that will add color and spirit to your bathroom. It's good for that purpose. This is a screen printed polyester so think the image is superimposed on the fabric. The quality of the stitching is surprisingly good and I ironed it on silk with no problems. I ironed the wrong side, not the front, which is good. The funny thing is that I think the birds were added separately from the actual snowman image. So they stand out, and they are parrots!. Of course it was made in Turkey, but I'm not sure where in the world you can find a little flock of parrots on a snowman. Certainly not in Maine where I am, maybe titmice or cardinals, but no parrots. This will definitely be the subject of conversation and laughter for my family and friends. 🙂 Overall I am happy with the purchase which will be made for a few weeks every year.
