Review on The Hillman Group 230030 Lag Screws by Stephen Johnson

Bought 100 1/4" x 4" screws. Used 60 of these in four wooden rails to reinforce metal ramps. The pre-drilled holes are slightly smaller, maybe 3/16 inch. The screws were strong and cut very well and firmly into the wood. I read a bad review on screws that said the head broke off very easily, but these 1/4" x 4" are flimsy for their length and they were great. I would buy them again anytime. The ability to buy in bulk makes them very cheap per screw. Try the Big Box Store! In fact, other Revain sellers weren't competitive either. Hillman baby!
