Review on Enhance Your Cycling Experience with Domain ๐Ÿšด Cycling Extra Long Gel Bicycle Handlebar Bar Tape Wrap by Anatoly Yorgason

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Soft, grippy, sticky lined and long enough for deep section aerobars

Features: Long tape suitable for aerobars, sticky liner with no annoying adhesive or backing tape, comfortable without excessive padding, textured to reduce grip and friction offer Low Light: I have not yet looked for a tape like this for an aero bar I bought for my son. These rods are quite wide at the top as the carbon fiber allows for any shape. In the past, the practice with wide bars was to glue them halfway, ending just above the brake levers and leaving the top of the bar exposed. It certainly looks cool, but I wanted to completely seal the new bars for a couple of reasons: stopping the tape at the brake lever means the tape ends up in the normal hand position, which means it will almost certainly unwrap in the middle. a long ride away from any source of duct tape - The bare tops of the bar get slippery with sweat. While this is perfectly acceptable to me, my kid has seen a lot of footage of pros riding just forearms up and as a 15 year old hasn't seen amateurs horribly crashing the pros. 3 inches of textured tape under each forearm offers just over 3 inches of peace of mind. Although the airbags under the tape would give more. Small steps. The inner handlebar padding was too aggressive for the brake cable housing, so I had to hide it under duct tape. After gluing the handlebars and brake cable outer casing, I was left with 4 inches of tape on each side. . And surprisingly, the stems look cooler than if I left the top exposed.
