Purchased so I can use my 55" 4k TV as a second monitor around the room. The fabric covering of the cable is great, I can't explain why the cables didn't start like that. The picture is perfect. I work with a number of spreadsheets and sometimes need a second monitor (work from home) to display multiple dates at the same time. The image looked as sharp as you'd expect, meaning the cable didn't affect the signal quality of my 15-inch MacBook Pro. If you need a long cable I would go with this one.
