Review on ๐Ÿพ Optimized SturdiBag Large Height-Adjustable Pet Carrier by Katie Miller

Pretty good: Cats

I bought this because of the very specific dimensions required by the airline (Ethiopian) we flew with during our move from the US to Africa. Finally, I'm pretty sure the airline doesn't really understand how to measure as the bag was actually a bit longer than the space under the seat, but we were in business class so they didn't seem to mind. However, they protested when our cat managed to open one of the many flaps and escape. It seems she was somehow able to tug at the clip in the pocket where you're supposed to attach the leash (which is good for stopping her from running away, but not the best idea for a 24-hour animal). travel - they would strangle themselves on a leash and could use this contraption to open the bag instead.) She was off the plane for about six hours before (thankfully) running down the aisle a few hours before we landed. In general the bag is good. When you remove the bars, it becomes more flexible than most cat carriers; Basically, if you don't remove the bars, it can only flatten a few inches at the top and is longer than most cat carriers, so this may not work on many airlines. Lots of flaps and zippers are too much, our cat escaped and we will most likely just use our regular cat carriers for travel on airlines other than Ethiopia.

Pros
  • Inner fleece pad with Velcro
Cons
  • There are some nuances
