I³'m satisfied with the product, it³'s well made and the price is also satisfying.

Review from NOT a professional. When I chose a camera, I had two conditions: that I could take it with me to the beach, and that I could fearlessly give the camera to a child. This camera meets both conditions. I already had an Olympus camera before, it did not suit me only because it had poor stabilization. Where it is impossible to photograph with a flash, I had to contrive and look for support so that there is no blur. So I bought a Canon with optical stabilization and a lot of customization. This camera is good, but you can’t just throw it in your bag, it’s better not to take it to the beach at all, these are too extreme conditions for Canon. And in my amateur opinion, on a bright sunny day, the Olympus will outperform any SLR camera with the quality of the pictures, and the Canon digital camera cannot keep up with it at all. That’s why I bought myself a second Olympus camera and I’m quietly happy)) The downside is that it’s very inconvenient to switch modes on it, but the pictures on the machine are very wonderful, so I most often don’t bother and take pictures on the machine, I switch only for shooting underwater and for panoramic shots. Of the magic modes, I liked the "soft focus" when the pictures are taken in a romantic style, and the child liked the "shine" mode, when shining stars are added, but this is more for fun. To complete the picture, I’ll add that the camera works great after being dropped, but the appearance is a little damaged, scratches are visible both on the body and on the screen, but I’m very sensitive to this, who doesn’t find fault much, won’t even pay attention to these scratches .

Pros
  • Really waterproof and shockproof, tested by a child. Compact.
Cons
  • The mode selection button is very inconvenient and long to use.
