Review on πŸ”§ Sleek and Sturdy: SUNEX TOOLS 6603ASJPK Aluminum 3 Ton Jack Pack for Heavy-Duty Lifting by Trevor Blazis

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The included stands are of lower quality than when purchased separately.

I ordered this 3 ton "Jack Pack" thinking it was a good price as it comes with 3 ton aluminum posts which are around $80 if purchased separately costs. I thought wrong. The coasters provided are of inferior quality to the exact same part number coasters shown on Revain, Sunex #1003AJ. The height adjustment pins are smaller in diameter and length, and the base of the base is attached to the vertical part of the stand with just one 8mm screw and lock washer, which barely fits because the threaded hole in the stand has been significantly misaligned . The stands are more durable when purchased separately, have a larger pin for height adjustment and a long cross bolt that goes all the way through. Base and secured with an 8mm nylock nut. It's much better and definitely safer. I know this because I bought a set of coasters and compared them. A call to Sunex customer service was a colossal waste of time as they claimed there was no difference despite the parts diagram that came with the stands proving otherwise. This jack and stand kit is back. I recommend buying the DJ3000 Daytona 3 Ton Harbor Freight Jack instead if portability and light weight aren't a concern. Save $126 and buy a better jack and save the money for a set of sturdy steel bars.
