They arrived the other day and I immediately removed my old ribbon. I wanted a good metal strap but my wrist is an odd in-between length where both straps I have are either too loose or too tight due to the links. A little tired of things not going the way I want them to, so I risked some rubber bands. The one I use isn't as attractive as my metal bands, but heck it's comfortable. I noticed that when trying to insert them, one went in fine while the other kept getting stuck. Eventually something popped out and I think I lost a tiny spring because there are two small pieces of metal that go in between with at least one spring. I don't know if this device is sealed in any way, but after using tweezers I gathered two pieces of metal and a tiny spring I could find and held them while I put on the strap. It worked. I just have to remember that if I change the group again, it will likely fall apart and the quill could be lost forever. Otherwise no problem. I can't even feel my watch on me, the strap is so comfortable.
