These shoes looked exactly what I wanted but unfortunately the opening is too narrow. We kicked my sons into mine hoping they just needed a stretch, but then they crashed into his ankle. I asked my friend's son to try them on and same thing so my youngest son who is 3 sizes small tried them on and we could barely fit in either. I received them just before Easter and the trip we took and was about to return them when we got home. Unfortunately, our trip dragged on for two weeks and I missed my return date. I usually give them to someone who needs them, but I can't find a child without ankles.
