The most important thing for me and Rosie was that it was easy to put on with minimal collaboration. We found it very easy to put on. We haven't had a chance to wear it in rainy weather yet, but it looks like the material has been given a water-repellent coating. Fastens with Velcro under the chin and behind the legs under the belly. Rosie didn't like the hood but it pulls on easily to stay on the back/shoulder area. Maybe I should have chosen a smaller size but it is adjustable to fit. I'd rather have room for another "coat" for extra warmth during the winter chills. I think it's amazing and Rosie seems to agree!
