Well, the first important point. This light bar requires a metal attachment point that a magnet will stick to! So take a small magnet and try to attach it to the installation site. If the magnet doesn't stick, it's NOT working. For example, a BMW 750i will not work because there is no attachment point for metal magnets in the roof! The Ford truck will work fine! The order of the light signals is selected by a switch in the socket holder. It is beautifully made and has several different lighting modes. There is also an on/off switch. The cable is long enough to go from the passenger window to the roof beam. The light is very bright and looks great! The steering wheel is about the size of a police car steering wheel. Protective rubber pads work if you are careful with their placement. Not sure about long term use with multiple mounts and takedowns. Overall a decent product if you have metal magnetic attachment points.
