Did exactly what I expected.
I needed to get my TV and sound out of the HDMI cable that powers my TV. The cable box has been changed and the RCA composite video and audio output is "lost". Now I can run an HDMI cable from the cable box to my TV through this box and have 3 RCA plugs to provide the signal to control the TV in the kitchen. wrong decoding. No problem.
