Of course, the device comes with a CAN bus module and a HALO control unit, which is very convenient. The CAN bus is plug and play, but I don't understand why the HALO control box is separate and needs to be soldered to the bike wiring harness. Certainly doable for DIYers, but a very silly and annoying design. The app is pretty easy to use, but requires access to a location to run it. I don't want any company, especially a Chinese company, that doesn't understand privacy to know my whereabouts. After the initial setup, I wouldn't want to touch it again.
