Simple installation and very high-quality workmanship. The components are weatherproof. Despite the weight, the aluminum body adds to its strength and will likely extend its lifespan for years to come. When assembling, I recommend using standard screws if possible. I was lucky enough to find a screw in the engine compartment. After removing this screw (zero-day screw) I cleaned it thoroughly with a degreaser and let it dry completely. Then I smeared a thick layer of red Loctite on it to keep it from moving under the vibration. As another user noted, Pyle horns have a "PA" sound quality. This means the mids and highs are more focused than the lows, leaving little to no bass. Despite its small size (6 inches), however, it can still produce a significant amount of volume with the right radio and/or amplifier. A very nice addition to my Kenwood handheld VHF radio. Even at maximum volume there is no distortion.
