Bought to replace my 20 year old Logitech MOMO racing wheel. Once I finally had the drivers (the Thrustmasters site was down for some reason) and everything installed, I downloaded Project Cars 2 and gave it a try. The bike worked great! The force feedback is very strong and I could finally feel everything from bumpy curbs to tire loss. The pedals also worked well. They're really big and made of metal. They come with a brake module that you can install if you want the force required to apply the brakes to be increased. One downside to the pedals compared to the Logitech MOMO is that they slide all over the carpet. I had to put a heavy weight behind them to keep them from slipping every time I hit the brakes. The clip that holds the wheel is very finicky and terrible compared to the Logitech MOMO. MOMO had three latches on each side of the wheel that held it securely. It has a large U clip that you tighten underneath. The problem is that as you race, you spin the wheel back and forth. This will cause the screw that goes through the clamp to twist and seize and you will not be able to loosen it. I had to lift the wheel off the table to loosen it and then I was able to loosen the clamp. There is also a fan that turns on when you use the wheel for a while. I didn't find it too loud, but it's noticeable. Although the general build quality of the steering wheel is excellent. The bike feels heavy and well built. Ok, but why two stars? After about 15 days of use (maybe an hour or less a day) the bike started acting like crazy. Suddenly he stopped and didn't turn anymore. It would then suddenly go back to normal, except it seemed really rough, like gears colliding with each other. Then suddenly it turned and closed again. When this happened, he hummed loudly. I also tried several games (American Truck Simulator, Project Cars 2 and iRacing) but they all had the same problem. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in it tried to auto-calibrate itself but only rotated to one side and it sounded like the motor was trying to keep rotating. It hummed like crazy and the fan kicked on. I searched online, repaired the bootloader and updated all firmware and software, but it just froze and kept beeping. Really sad the wheel was amazing when it worked but I used it for about 15 days! And for fairly short sessions! How something so expensive works so badly! The packaging states that Thrustmaster stands for passion, quality and performance. I think they should remove the "Quality" part. Really disappointing. Return it to Revain and get a Logitech G29 with Switch. I would listen to other reviewers here. The quality of this thing is just not right and it's a pity, but due to the high acquisition costs you should think about a different wheel.
