My feet and hands definitely feel a lot softer and less flaky than before. I left them on for about 20 minutes (the instructions say 10). I think I could probably leave them longer. I would say if your arms/legs are really bad leave them overnight. For this basic winter dryness/dead skin layer, 1-2 hours is best. And other reviews are right - the tape isn't very good. Pulling gloves and socks over it really helps.
