Review on Fiskars SureCut Folding Trimmer 154470 1002 by Jessica Lewis

This product is suitable for artists, but I use photographic paper. My old cheap Xacto rotary cutter works better, it cuts the paper in one pass and the waste falls on the table. Fiskars makes two passes, which require more pressure on the cutting blade, and the cut isn't always complete. The cut material remains on the cutting board, so it must be removed manually before the next cut. I see no real benefit in LED lighting. Fiskars does not come with an instruction manual. I found out where the batteries go in a video on You Tube. The cutter body is weak and has a white "pressure plate" that the bottom edge of the cutter makes contact with, leaving a cut groove/track. This pad will likely add stability to the blade and will need to be flipped over and possibly replaced (information from You Tube). I will replace, return, or give away this cutter.
