This is a great little charger. Most of them are 1-1/1/2 amp. This has 2.5 amps. I turn it on at night and in the morning the battery is fully charged. Automatic shutdown. Great when the temperature drops below 5 degrees. I like that. And with the detachable plug, I connected it directly to the battery, so I just plug in the plug and plug in the charger. No brackets required. And it's safe. Use with or without clips. Update: It's been like this for 5 weeks. Then I output 2 volts. So it's garbage. Never again
