Review on πŸ’Ό OEM Lenovo ThinkPad P15s: High-performance Business Laptop with Intel Quad Core i7, FHD Display, 40GB RAM, 1TB NVMe, Quadro P520, Fingerprint & Windows 10 Pro by Colin Watkins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm glad I made the jump after a lot of research and consideration.

When I faced the reality that it was time to buy a new laptop, the options were overwhelming. I knew that buying a top-of-the-line device for over $2,000 would be overkill, but I also wanted to stay away from budget laptops that would only be a source of frustration 18 months from now. good option but Lenovo uses naming and numbering conventions all the time. I finally settled on the P15, which is often overlooked in favor of the E Series and other lines. My only reservation was that a professional review of the laptop said the display was terrible. I can say after getting my P15s that this review was melodramatic. If you're constantly into animation or digital art, you might be disappointed with the display on this laptop. But to be honest, if I wasn't in the mood to look for any clarity or brightness issues, I doubt I'd ever notice them. Essentially, they all boil down to some shades of blue appearing slightly washed out compared to a premium car. (I have a high-end Dell at work to use as a comparison.) If you're primarily looking for a business or school computer, this is a solid machine - fast and smooth. The sound is excellent and the display (contrary to the rating above) is definitely of sufficient quality. Another nice thing is that if you buy this from an OEM (through Revain) they can ship it to a Revain locker so you don't have to worry about your porch being stolen.
