You may think that boring, old-fashioned dog food is not for your dog. But my dog loves this particular brand of pellets. We mix it with another type of scientific nutrition called Acana. He started to lose interest in Acana so we decided to make him more interesting by giving him half Acana and half Nutro. Since then he has not shown any indifference. Funny story: While feeding his dog, my son spilled a few pieces of nutro food onto a 1 gallon jug of water. A typical naughty 13-year-old, he left it there, not removed. A few hours later, my dog frantically attacked the water jug. I didn't understand why so I took the pitcher and my dog started chewing on the two small bits of food that were left there. Mind you, we don't starve our dog or anything. He just had to get this piece. Funny story #2: My dog loves vegetables. Broccoli is his favorite food. He also likes zucchini, cauliflower, carrots, apples and scrambled eggs. But he turns up his nose at fried eggs.
