It was quite an easy process to be honest and it gave me .
I have an Optoma GT1080 (no Darbee). At first I thought I had a blown lamp/projector bulb (although the fault chart seemed to tell me exactly that), but that wasn't the case. After replacing the color wheel with this one, everything worked right away. To be honest it was a pretty easy process and it also gave me the option to take a can of air and spray it. I highly recommend this if changing the lamp didn't work for you. Many Optoma projectors share the same design, so this steering wheel is very versatile.
