Meets my needs in four ways: 1) Easy assembly 2) Comfortable grip and specially designed edges that keep your laptop in place 3) Outdoor design allows cool air to circulate around your laptop 4) Use it horizontally or standing. I prefer to use my laptop standing, connected to a separate monitor so there are 2 work screens when using a wireless keyboard and mouse. It is not advertised for use in this manner. I realized that my laptop could tip forward if hit from behind while using it in an upright position. so fair warning to feline companions. I found it to be stable both horizontally and vertically and that my standard sized laptop actually stays in place when in use and doesn't slip or shift. Happy to find a compact design, seems like easy to pack and use when traveling but haven't tried it yet. because. COVID-19. I love the versatility and the price so much I bought another one for my work laptop.
