They were well packaged. It comes in a cast styrofoam mold made specifically for these glasses. Much better than bubble wrap. They all survived. (It's so well made I kept the box and glasses case which I don't need to keep.) They are thick glass. About the same thickness as a regular 1 ounce shot glass. One of the glasses had a tiny (sharp) burr. It wasn't part of the glass. It looks like it was spatter from hot glass that got on the glass after it cooled. I took a round file and put it down. The spatter came off in less than 5 seconds. There was still a little bit left. I filed on the spot and in less than 2 minutes it was completely gone. And the glass was not damaged at all during filing. You can't see where I dropped it. To the brim it holds 1 teaspoon per 2 ounces. So 2 ounces is about 1/8 inch below the rim. In case anyone is wondering, the outside label on the box says "made in China".
