I bought these to hang some chickweed on the side of the tank closer to the top of my tank. I didn't want the chickweed to just float as there is a lot of surface movement in my tank. The chickweed will most likely crack, break, and just make a mess. Also, my guppies love to play in it and my mollies love to eat in it. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is that the clear suction cups become opaque after a few weeks so they can become unsightly if you use them in highly visible areas. back is clear. In the two pictures you can see what I just added today. The remaining four stay there for about two weeks. If you are using thin strips of aquarium sponge (approximately 4.5mm x 8mm (3/16" x 5/16")), you can use this to wrap the stem of the chickpea and press the sponge (with chickpea) inside The Suction Cup For reference, my setup is a 36 gallon tank with a Sunsun 303b canister filter and a Marineland Biowheel 200 cooking filter.
