Review on Canari Cyclewear Womens Cycling X Large by Robert Viher

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not for long trips: clothing

that I would use to wear under regular clothing for short trips and as they are sold as briefs I think this is the one their intended use is, but as other reviewers say they can definitely be worn alone. Compared to many other European bike clothing brands I've tried since, these sizes are more "Americanized" which to me means I chose L in these sizes instead of XL at Giordana or XXL at Garneau. As for the bike kit, I don't care what the sizing says about it, but I try to measure for each brand because the fit is so inconsistent with what we equate with sizing labels. I didn't find the elastic on my legs too tight and my hips are wide. If you're on the cusp of two sizes I would recommend going down a size depending on how they fit and the stretch of the material. I recently switched to road cycling and these shorts were one of my first purchases because they were relatively cheap and I wanted to play around with a few different cuts and suede. I've since switched to better shorts, but I keep them on rotation for rides under 10 miles because I start to feel close to full-length suede about half an hour into a ride. Where they have been great for the recent heat because they are very breathable as the main fabric is a stretchy loose material. The legs are definitely not compression shorts, but I don't mind short trips.
