I like that you can work with different programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) for your simulations as well as using C++ if required. You could also use other scripting language such as JavaScript or R but it's not supported by this software yet. It would be great when all features are available in both Windows OS & LinuxOS versions of open eagle so we don't have problems working from home under linuxos only. We're building an application which simulates birds' migration routes through wind farms/powerplants. This allows us to simulate how many turbines will need replacing as they wear out over time due to bird impact.
