When installed, the gasket did not fit on the top edge. I've only included photos with the old gasket for reference. The new seal is exactly the same size. Well, they welded a connector in there with this piece of plastic. Thus, half of this protective coating on the thread melted. And while we're in this area, let's get back to welding. You will also notice that this converter has the cells mounted higher up in the assembly as opposed to the standard. I don't think it will make a huge difference, but I want you to know.
