Tripp Lite Car Inverter 100W

Why I bought this item: I got this to install a mini camcorder on my car dashboard. The camera is my silent witness due to the fact that so many people are drunk, running red lights, ignoring stop signs, etc. And I've been hit more than once by such people, who of course then lied about what's really happening. Product: It works. A lot of things nowadays are of inferior quality to rubbish. It's not this one yet. Before buying, I carefully checked the power and voltage limits of the device. Too much and you can blow a fuse in your car, as I've learned the hard way before. As a result, the block immediately began to work. A small red light indicates that the inverter is activated. What I also like is that it doesn't get hot and hardly gets warm even on a long ride and multiple days of use. I like the ease with which it connects and at the same time it fits snugly without wobbling. Finally, the USB port charges my phone pretty quickly when traveling. What I don't like: You have to do things for you to replace the plug if it breaks or the fuse blows. They don't, so in that case you'll have to buy a brand new device. The bi-pin socket is too close to the USB sockets. My camera connector blocks one of them, which is frustrating when a passenger needs to charge their phone at the same time as me.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Basically OK, but...
