Will not remove plaque from retainers
This product did not work on my SmileDirectClub retainers. I followed the directions and left the aligners in the solution for about 20 minutes. I have no doubt they were sterile but it did not remove plaque and made my retainers opaque. I had to go back and gently brush them with a toothbrush to get the desired result. For context, I floss and brush before I put on the retainers each time so the amount of plaque buildup is minimal and should be easy to remove.
