(1) Finally, we have 16AWG wire instead of the regular 18AWG wire. All computer power supplies come with 16AWG wire, so 16AWG wire for the extension cord is a nice upgrade from 18AWG. The move to 16AWG wire shows that this manufacturer is taking customer feedback into account. (2) Using a black cable jacket instead of the usual silver metallic really shows off the light fins. Also, it looks a lot better as the silver metal type is visible but the black cable jacket is not. (3) Pretty much all ARGB cables like this one have a flare in the middle of the cable. This is how light works. They also have hot spots on the ends, again how light works. Some are worse than others. The PCCOOLER proposal essentially solves both of these problems, with very small hotspots at the ends and almost no blowout towards the center. That's a great development. (4) The cord is also about an inch longer than others I've reviewed. (5) Easier to bend than others although using thicker 16AWG wire instead of 18AWG wire. the thicker, the smaller the number. So a 12AWG wire is much thicker than a 20AWG wire.) CONCLUSION This is a near perfect ARGB 24 pin to 16AWG wire. Compared to others I have reviewed, the PCCOOLER version is far superior to all. For example, the manufacturer has practically eliminated hotspots at the ends and light spots in the middle. Also, we now have real 16AWG wire instead of 18AWG wire. The entire cord is also an inch larger than others I've reviewed.
