I had this several months after buying a new laptop with only two portals. So I really need this to function. But the slightest movement causes it to turn off. The connector into the computer appears to be poorly designed. At first I thought the issues I was having might be related to my external hard drives, cameras, or monitors - all of which predated this hub. So I started using them less and less. But no matter what I put in the hub, a tiny adjustment to the laptop's position, or even a bump on my desk, it gives me a "Your hard drive didn't eject properly" alert and disables Wi-Fi. If this happens during a class I'm teaching, I can no longer address my students! So it gets in the way of work and very frustrating. You need to buy a different brand hub. Don't repeat my mistake!
