Have been using this foot for a few months now. (I sew every day.) I'm still in shock at how affordable it was and how much I love it! Here's my two cents: I have a walking foot with "teeth" pulling the fabric across the top, and the walking foot works 99% of the time. But there are some knits that are so tight, soft, thin, stretchy, brittle, etc. that this magical little knitting foot seems MADE for them. The walking leg uses its upper teeth to cling to some of these delicate tissues. And for such a thin, elastic fabric, that's sometimes just too much. But this little knitting foot is just right, putting just the right amount of pressure on it from above, and the little pad on top of it is SOFT and FLAT and doesn't cling to the fabric at all. My ONLY complaint about the Knit Foot is that it has issues with the layers once they start to get a little thick. So, how thin and how thin the knit is and how thick it gets when there are multiple layers, I decide whether to use the running foot or this knitting foot. With two of them I can sew anything together with ease! :)
