It worked like a charm. It was harder to get than the YouTube video I was watching, but once I got it all went well. Evaluate the proposal to solder at a temperature of 200 degrees. And there was a temporary adjustment on the solder pin! Big! You can overheat the solder. I have some soldering experience and I'm sure it helped with all of this. I actually left the fairing cover off and loosened it so I could install the pins. My speed is actually 1 mph below zero, but I won't shoot it again! Filled up and the fuel gauge set to maximum on a level parking lot. HOORAY! It works out! I had to remove the radio cover, the trim cover under the dash cover. Lots of nuts, every 7mm. This was on a 2005 Chevy Venture LS. Very satisfied with the product and the result.
