Review on 💡 Bulbrite 773450 LED15BR40: The Perfect Incandescent Equivalent LED Bulb Solution by Juan Wilson

We're sure a caveman designed the layout of our kitchen and great room, because there's no excuse for poorly planned lighting in these areas. We added several lighting options but they were always missing. We were delighted to try these Bulbrite bulbs in recessed fixtures, which were flimsy to say the least. These 15 watt dimmable light bulbs were just what the doctor ordered! In fact, due to the larger surface area of this part of the lamp, they fill more space in the lighting glass. The most amazing thing about this bulb is that the light it puts out (full output) is INCREDIBLE! These 4 bulbs alone can now light up our kitchen better than if we had all 12 bulbs on. The fact that they are LED and use less power, only 15 watts per bulb, is also a huge bonus for us. The kitchen is the busiest room in our house, and since we live in the Pacific Northwest (under cloud cover 9 months of the year) and the windows in our house are poorly used, artificial lighting is our only option. These lightbulbs transformed this room into a fun, well-lit area. We don't have a dimmer in the kitchen so I tried one of these bulbs in a dimmable spotlight in our living room with little success. My previous experience of dimming low wattage bulbs has usually involved a lot of stuttering/flickering, causing seizures when trying to use anything less than full wattage. I couldn't discern any flicker at all on the one I was using and left it on different dimming settings for a while just to see how it performed. It seemed to set up and run smoothly without the flickering or weirdness we've experienced in the past. For us, these big, powerful lightbulbs have helped brighten up our boring kitchen by reducing energy consumption. Won/won!
