It was just what I needed to take my climbing to the next level. I installed this on my 20's Specialized Fuse Comp 29er. I recently upgraded groupset to the X0-1 kit I bought on eBay. The kit included a 32 tooth chainring and while the set is excellent the 32 tooth chainring is. on my already heavy fuse were rough. I chose the Wolftooth oval for the added climbing efficiency. I'm not disappointed, just rode one of the most technical tracks in my area with a new ring and it's phenomenal! There is no slip at all. I will say that when you engage 2-3 highest gears 36, 42 and 50T you can feel the oval changing the pedaling speed. It's like you get up and pedal really hard, you have an erratic rhythm because you reset your seat to go uphill like that, except you're sitting and not working as hard. When you put the cassette down, you don't notice it anymore and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. This made climbing much easier.
