A defect completely ruined the first impression of the purchase, but perhaps it's simply a marriage in disguise. What is striking about the evaluations of the JBL T460BT headphones is the prevalence of issues that are remarkably similar to one another. Many advantages: • Retains a charge for an extended period of time • Excellent sounding overall, despite a few minor flaws in the design (more on that in the shortcomings) Con: Background noise starts up as soon as the track starts playing, and it stays there the entire time you're listening to it. If you press the pause button, the noise continues to be audible for another second, and it's especially noticeable when the volume is turned down very low. This is a dealbreaker for me, especially during the quieter parts of songs.
