We bought two of these to complement our two other bar stools that we’ve had for years. We love our old stools so much that I wasn’t sure we’d find any that we liked as well . but we did! My grandpa put the stools together one morning before any of the rest of us got up. They didn’t come with instructions, but it didn’t take him long to figure it out anyway. They’re heavy enough to be sturdy and I don’t feel nervous about older (yet, still quite active/wiggly) kids or the large men in my family sitting on these stools. They’re comfortable to sit on while we chat across the kitchen island and while we eat at the bar. I like that the height is adjustable just by spinning the top. We usually keep it as low as possible due to our bar height, but I like the ability. It’s visually pleasing with the metal frame and wooden seat top. It has a toned down rustic industrial feel to me which I love.
