Pleasant smell and thicker texture. Squeezed out, it's more like a hard, non-sticky hair paste with a little water. In general, embroidery is not bad, but I was hoping for more. Regardless, my face felt very soft after a good 2 minutes of peeling. If I had a pet chinchilla, we could rub our cheeks and neither of us would be scared. The tingling is nominal with a slight burning sensation, but that may be partly because I just shaved with my electric foil razor. The packaging looks like a quality product and reminds me of other similar packaging sold in upscale department stores. In most cases, products that do not contain harmful ingredients and provide quality results are more expensive. But with my limited budget and living in an expensive part of the country, it should have been an occasional article for me. Regardless, I think it's a gem and one of the best face scrubbers I've ever used.
